Plumeria Care Instructions
Minimize handling.
There's two easy ways to do this:
1. Just lift the whole insulation "bag" of flowers right out of the box and into your cooler. Don't even touch the flowers. (unless you just can't help yourself) I'd leave the bag open in there. You can set this right on a layer of ice.
2. Replace our melted gel pack with your frozen gel pack in our box and re-seal. There's a couple pieces of bubble wrap in there that we use to keep the flowers from direct contact. You'll see. It's pretty easy to switch.
So remember- Minimize handling until it's time to party. Keep them chilled, not cold. 50-60 degrees is what you want. And finally, optimize your care by misting them with cold water. It's like the breath of life for them sometimes. So whenever you get a chance apply liberally.
Here's some quick tips on caring for and maximizing the life of your plumerias-
For overnight care, don't use your refrigerator. It's too cold. Keep them in an insulated container (ice chest, cooler...) with a frozen gel pack or a layer of ice for chill. Or you can re-use our shipping box. This is quite a good environment for them actually.
